Tutorial - Image Masks Overlays
A quick and short tutorial on how to use Image Masks for Overlays
I decided to create a quick and concise tutorial on using Image Masks. In my Creator Konbini shop, I offer several overlays that require Image Masking in OBS or broadcasting software.
Follow these steps below if you use OBS as your broadcasting software!
Create a new Scene, name it “Webcam”!
In your “Webcam” scene, add your Video Capture Device source and find your webcam device.
After you see your webcam in your new scene, right-click your “Webcam” scene to add a filter. Select the “Image Mask/Blend” filter and find the “black-circle.png”.
Re-adjust your camera within the circle to how you like the view!
Once all the previous steps are done, go to the scene you would like your webcam to be displayed at.
Add a new Source > Scenes > “Webcam”.
Image Overlay: Add another new Source > Image > and select the colored webcam graphic you want to use. Move it over your circled webcam and adjust accordingly! Done!
.WEBM Overlay: Add another new Source > Media Source > and select the colored webcam .webm file you want to use. Move it over your circled webcam and adjust accordingly! Done!
Hopefully, this will help you to start using your new overlays!
Extra Notes: This is a little side tidbit on how the image masking works!
